Judge Unseals Arrest Documents In Pueblo County Triple Murder Case

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) - A judge in Pueblo has released previously sealed arrest documents in the case of man accused of killing three people in November and then setting a home on fire.

Harry Mapps appeared in court on Tuesday. Authorities arrested the former truck driver and handyman in Oklahoma in late December. Mapps, 59, was one of the most sought-after fugitives in the country at the time of his arrest.

The murders and fire took place on Nov. 27 at a residence outside the town of Rye in Pueblo County.

Reginald Tuttle, 51, Kim Tuttle, 55, and their daughter Dawn Roderick, 33, were all killed. The Tuttles owned the home that was set on fire and Roderick was a Pueblo resident.

Arrest documents show that investigators believe Mapps committed the murders after learning he was soon to be evicted from the Tuttle's home, where he had been living.

The Pueblo Chieftain also reported that the documents state the victims were dead for at least five hours before the home was set on fire.
