JonBenét Ramsey Cold Case Focus Of Upcoming TV Programming

(CBS4) - Twenty years after the murder of 6-year-old JonBenét Ramsey in Boulder, two networks are dedicating programming to the unsolved Colorado case.

CBS will air a six-hour three-part docuseries, "The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey," the network announced Wednesday. Original investigators will team up with new experts to re-examine the evidence using today's technology and forensics. They will also rebuild the crime scene, conduct interviews and offer new theories.

"The Case of: JonBenét Ramsey" premieres Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. on CBS4.  Part 2 airs Monday, September 19th from 8-10 p.m., then the 3rd part airs Sunday, September 25th from 7-9p.m. Mountain time.

Dr. Phil will interview JonBenét's brother Burke on 9/12, 9/13 and 9/19 4-5p.m. on CBS4.

Lifetime also announced Wednesday that it has started production on "Who Killed JonBenét?" The film will premiere later this fall.

Ramsey, a child beauty queen, was found beaten and strangled in the basement of her family's home in Boulder on Dec. 26, 1996.
