2 Charged With Murder In Fernando Perez Deadly Shooting

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Two men have been charged in the shooting death of Fernando Perez in December. Officers rushed to the area near 101st Avenue and Clayton Street where they found the victim on Dec. 3, 2021.
Charges have been filed against Matthew McMahon, 18, and Jonathan Garcia, 19 for first-degree murder.
Police say the men communicated with Perez on social media to complete a clothing sale. They are accused of shooting and robbing Perez.
