Jon Streckenbach Appears In Court On Arson Charges After Telling Police He Used Torch To Remove Cobwebs

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Jon Charles Streckenbach appeared in court Friday on charges of arson. Last fall, he told authorities he was using a propane torch to remove cobwebs from underneath a home north of Longmont when a fire started.

A small bag of white substance was found in Streckenbach's pants pocket as he was being booked into the jail, the affidavit stated. That substance tested positive for methamphetamine.
