Jogger Reportedly Threatened, Sexually Assaulted On Boulder Creek Path

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Boulder police are investigating after a jogger reported being threatened and sexually assaulted on the Boulder Creek bike path.

It happened Friday night between 10 and 10:30, just south of the 4700 block of Walnut Street. The adult female victim was running when she was grabbed from behind and threatened with a knife then sexually assaulted.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-twenties, between 5'10" and six feet tall, with a medium build and facial hair. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and dark pants at the time of the attack.

The victim told police that she believed the suspect was a transient considering his dirty appearance and foul odor.
