Man Connected To Missing Littleton Woman In Court On Unrelated Charges

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - A man connected to a woman who disappeared in Littleton appeared in court on another case on Wednesday.

Jeffrey Beier was dating Charlene Voight when she disappeared. He faces charges in a sexual assault case unrelated to her.

Wednesday morning a judge set a preliminary hearing for September to determine if Beier should stand trial on the unrelated case.

Voight, 36, has not been seen or heard from in weeks. She moved to Colorado from California to be with Beier. She's been out of touch with her family, which has her sister worried.

Police say they have two crime scenes that they have processed for evidence -- the lot where her car was found and a nearby apartment. Family says Charlene and Beier were living at the apartment.

The registered landowner of the lot told CBS4 he just sold the property it to Beier.
