Jarvis Gates Sentenced To Life In Prison For Murder Of Rotasha Pryor-Thomas

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Jarvis Gates was sentenced to life in prison for killing a 32-year-old woman. Rotasha Pryor-Thomas was found dead on Nov. 2, 2019 at the Chalet Motel on Alameda Avenue and Harlan Street.

Pryor-Thomas died of asphyxiation on Halloween. Gates was arrested days later after officers were called to the motel to investigate a suspicious death.

Gates has a history of domestic violence.
