Police Searching For Suspect In Fatal Shooting Of Woman

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - The investigation is on after a woman was found shot to death inside an apartment in Westminster.

Police were called to the apartment complex located near 70th Place and Stuart Street late Saturday night. Investigators were seen going in and out of at least two apartments on the main level of the complex.

According to Westminster Police, they were called to the area at around 11 p.m. for reports of an injured person. When they arrived they found a woman in her 30s had been shot.

Police are searching for Jarred Michael Strenge, 31, for second-degree homicide in connection with the woman's death. He's described as being 5-foot-11, 215 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He's considered to be armed and dangerous.

Police have not released the victim's name or the circumstances around the shooting.
