Jackknifed Semi Dangles Over Edge Of Mountain Highway

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A truck driver in Glenwood Canyon got in a precarious predicament late Friday morning. His semi jacknifed and wound up dangling over the edge of the westbound elevated highway after losing control somehow.

The crash slowed westbound traffic on Interstate 70 significantly at noon and CDOT said a heavy tow truck was being used to move the semi.

By 1:15 p.m., the wreckage was cleared and the highway was fully open again.
