Viral Video: Is This Woman Allowed To Save A Parking Spot This Way?

DENVER (CBS4) - Those who have driven in downtown Denver know parking can be a nightmare, but video of what one woman did to save a spot near Larimer Square has gone viral.

In the video a woman in an SUV can be heard yelling at another woman standing in a parking spot to save it. The driver is attempting to back into the parking spot and the woman standing there is bracing herself against the back of the vehicle.

"You can't do that!" the woman in the SUV yells.

"Yes I can!" the woman standing the parking spot said. "Move it lady … you're going to run me over! I'm calling the police right now! You're running me over!"

There are close to a million views on YouTube and some strong reactions online. But is it the driver or pedestrian who's at fault? CBS4 reached out to Denver Public Works. They say the woman shouldn't be in the street unless she's in a crosswalk. But the driver shouldn't have been blocking traffic.
