Investigators Reviewing Colorado Man's 2006 Stabbing Death In Wyoming

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Investigators are reviewing the 2006 stabbing death of a Colorado man whose body was found near Rock Springs in 2006.

Detective Dick Blust with the Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office says 28-year-old Ben Bradley, of Tabernash, Colorado, was hitchhiking to Jackson on a snowboarding outing when he disappeared in the Rock Springs area June 2, 2006. His body was found the following October.

Sgt. John Grossnickle says new information in the case "has opened up fresh avenues in the investigation."

Investigators didn't say what that information was but noted the Never Summer "split-board" snowboard Bradley was carrying was never recovered. Anyone with information about the death or the snowboard is asked to call the sheriff's office or the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

Charges were dropped against two men who had been accused in the case.
