According to affidavits reviewed by CBS4, investigators found a gas can on the floor where the fire may have started. Richardson's body was burned beyond recognition.

A bullet, fragments and a cartridge casing were found inside the apartment.

Then Pattison allegedly set the building on fire to cover up the murder. Richardson's body was found stuffed in a closet by firefighters who put out the fire.

The victim's missing motorcycle was located at a family member's home but police believe the missing Subaru was taken by Pattison.
