A vehicle fire shut down a stretch of Interstate 70 in the area of Watkins on Saturday afternoon. The roadway was back open just after 6:15 p.m.

According to CDOT, the response was on eastbound lanes on the stretch between US-36 exit 292 and I-70 Business North exit 295.
