Inmate Dies At Sterling State Prison

STERLING, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say an inmate has died at the state prison in Sterling, and it appears to be a homicide.

The Colorado Department of Corrections on Monday identified the inmate as Cody Gray but didn't say when or how he died.

Online prison records said he was 32.

The death is under investigation.

Officials say Gray was serving a life sentence for convictions in Mesa County on charges including sexual assault, drug abuse and burglary.
