Initiative Comes To Colorado To Help Small Businesses Grow

DENVER (CBS4)- Gov. John Hickenlooper and Senator Michael Bennet teamed up to welcome an initiative that will help encourage more small business development in Colorado.

The Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network was introduced at the Denver Art Museum on Wednesday.

It's a three year and $4 million initiative to help small businesses grow.

The goal is to build relationships between entrepreneurs and companies with high growth potential.

"Over time as the network is formed and strengthened, these relationships and the innovated companies will have a substantial impact on job creation and Colorado's economy," said Blackstone's Global Head of Real Estate Jon Gray.
