I-70 Westbound Traffic Partly Resumes After Multiple Crashes
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Traffic going west on Interstate 70 was stopped at the Eisenhower Johnson Tunnels in Clear Creek County Monday night. Colorado State Patrol says multiple crashes down to Silverthorne have forced the closure.
Snow blanketed the lanes as hundreds of cars waited for the safety closure to be lifted.

Traffic was allowed to go through the tunnels just before 8 p.m., but Colorado State Patrol says traffic going west was being held at Georgetown as snow plows cleared the roads from Bakerville.
Westbound I-70 traffic is being released from the Eisenhower Tunnel. Traffic still being held in Georgetown while crews plow westbound from Bakerville.
