I-70 Crime Spree Suspect Will Stand Trial, Judge Rules

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A judge in Jefferson County ruled there is enough evidence to try Christopher Sullivan for child sex-trafficking, among other crimes.

The DA's office says that on July 23 Sullivan broke into homes, hijacked a car, stole two others and led police on a high-speed chase along Interstate 70 into the mountains.

He was tackled by a deputy in the middle of I-70.

Sullivan, 37, was with a 17-year-old girl, who investigators say he picked up in New Mexico for sex.
