Husband Of Thornton Murder Victim Arrested Out Of State

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A 47-year-old man who police suspect murdered his wife in Thornton is in custody in Nevada.

An arrest warrant was issued on Thursday for Stefan Stoian, who police initially had called a person of interest in the homicide case.

The victim's body was found at a home in the 7500 block of East 121st Place Wednesday evening. Her name and the manner of her death has not been released.

The arrest of Stoian took place late Thursday night in Sparks, Nevada, which is near Reno.

So far police haven't said what Stoian might have been doing there.

Stoian is expected to be returned to Colorado after an extradition hearing in Nevada.
