Hunter Killed In Fall Was 42-Year-Old Littleton Man

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - The hunter killed in a fall from a peak near Aspen has been identified as 42-year-old Theodore James Leach of Littleton.

A climber spotted Leach on North Maroon Peak Sunday morning at about 11,200 feet in elevation and alerted authorities.

Leach was airlifted to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries.

The Pitkin County coroner has ruled the death an accident.
