Huey Helicopter Assembled Inside History Colorado Center

DENVER (CBS4)- Vietnam veterans are helping put together the newest exhibit at the History Colorado Center.

Eighteen veterans assembled a full-size, Huey Helicopter inside the museum. It's part of the new "1968" exhibit.

Many of the veterans were pilots who flew Hueys during the war.

"It was called the helicopter war, Vietnam, because the major impact the Huey had on the war itself. This is a magnificent machine," said

The new exhibit opens Feb. 7 and will include several other items from the 60s.
