How Folks Who Didn't Care About The Broncos Spent Their Sunday

DENVER (CBS4) – It might be hard to believe, but not everyone in Denver is a Broncos fan and spent their Super Bowl Sunday doing other things.

More than 80 percent of all metro Denver TVs were tuned in to the Broncos-Patriots game and the same was expected for the Super Bowl.

However there were those who are happy to admit they found other things to do on Sunday.

The Colorado Symphony Orchestra cut ticket prices in half on Sunday for fans wearing Broncos colors.

The symphony started at noon instead of at 2:30 p.m. so everybody could enjoy the show and then watch the game.

Denver resident Kristin Cohuth and friends went to the Denver Art Museum early so they could watch the Broncos later.

However she admitted she only care about the actual game.

"I want to watch the commercials," said Cohuth.

Denver resident Kevin Copenhaver said that he didn't care at all about the game and had planed to do other things.

"We're going to go to our favorite bar where there is not a TV and have a cocktail," said Copenhaver.

The Colorado History Museum is featuring Broncos memorabilia.

It also opened early and closed early and charged nothing to visitors wearing orange.
