House Fire Spreads To Nearby Trees In Boulder County

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The investigation into what caused a house fire that spread into nearby trees continues in Boulder County.

A fire damaged a home near the small town of Wondervu northwest of Golden in Coal Creek Canyon Friday afternoon.

Boulder County authoritites said the flames started in a garage and then spread to the trees around the home. Fortunately crews were able to stop the flames from spreading any farther into the forest.

No one was injured.

What caused the fire is being investigated.
