Resident Escapes Intense House Fire Before Firefighters Arrive

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters battled a house on fire in Adams County Tuesday night.

The fire broke out at a home located near 78th Avenue and Steele Street at approximately 8 p.m.

When crews arrived they found the man living inside the home had made it out safely.

The flames were so intense that firefighters had to stay out of the house but they were able to get it under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
