Homicide Detectives Investigate After Woman Found Strangled

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police homicide detectives have begun an investigation into a woman's body found over the weekend in the area of 47th Avenue and Kingston Street.

The coroner told CBS4 that the young woman found in the industrial area about 5:30 p.m. Saturday had been strangled.

The victim has been identified as Araceli Esparza-Miranda, 23, from Denver.

Investigators have not released many details about what led up to her death.
