Homeowners Assess Damage From Tuesday's Storms

OTIS, Colo. (CBS4) - Homeowners are assessing the damage from Tuesday's storms in Washington and Yuma counties on Colorado's Eastern Plains.

The sheriff's department says two tornadoes touched down.

Hail damaged more than 20 homes along County Roads 41 and 42 in Washington County. That's near Platner and Otis. High winds from the storms also caused damage homes and structures.

In Yuma County, a tornado ripped off the top of three sheds.

Some power poles were knocked over on some roads in Adams County. Several of those roads remained closed on Wednesday.
