Home Intruder Pulls Knife To Escape From Boulder Resident
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Boulder would like the public's help identifying a home intruder who pulled a knife on a resident.
According to police, a man broke into a home in the 1600 block of Pine Street on Tuesday at approximately 11:15 p.m.
"A male resident inside the home encountered a man he did not know in the hallway of the first floor. When confronted, the suspect ran and tried to leave the house, but he was initially unsuccessful at finding an exit," police said in a statement. "The intruder pulled a knife from his pocket. The resident was cut as the intruder ran by him."
The intruder was able to escape by running upstairs onto a deck on down the deck's stairs to the street. He was last seen running southbound on 17th Street.
"The victim suffered two superficial lacerations on his right forearm, which did not require immediate medical attention," police said.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-11, 150 to 160 pounds with reddish-blonde hair and a receding hairline. He was wearing a bright green t-shirt and khaki cargo shorts.
