Hines Ward Gives CSU Rams A Pep Talk
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - CSU Rams new head football coach Mike Bobo brought a former teammate in for a pep talk this week.
Bobo and former NFL wide receiver Hines Ward both played for the University of Georgia.
Ward told the football team in a meeting Bobo organized in Fort Collins that he knows the team had a great season last year and made it to a bowl game, "but you can push yourself further."
The former Pittsburgh Steelers star said success in football is all about mental toughness.
"Impose your will on your opponents. Don't take crap from anyone," said Ward.
Ward said he's now a CSU Rams fan because he's a big Bobo fan.
