School Put On Lockdown As Police Investigate Suspicious Person

DENVER (CBS4) - Police investigating a suspicious person forced the lockdown of a middle school in Denver Monday afternoon but the lockdown has since been lifted.

According to police, officers investigated a report of suspicious person in the area of the 400 block of Clermont Street just before 2 p.m.

The Hill Campus of Arts and Sciences was on lockdown for precautionary reasons. Police said all students staff were safe and a detailed letter will go home with students.
