2 Hikers, Dog Named Juno Rescued From Douglas County Trail

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Two hikers and their dog, named Juno, were helped out of Indian Creek on Saturday night. The Douglas County Search and Rescue team responded to the area for the two overdue hikers at around 4:40 p.m.

Team officials say the group struggled to make the hike back out. Crews found them on the equestrian trail, loaded Juno onto a litter and carried the dog back to the parking lot.

The crew says everyone made it out safely at around 7:30 p.m.
