Highway 36 Expansion Project Completed After 3 Years Of Work

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - After more than three years the expansion of Highway 36 is finished.

Drivers can now use the express lanes between Louisville and Boulder. The lanes are free for a testing period, but only between Table Mesa and 88th Avenue.

Tolls will still be collected in the existing express lanes between 88th and Federal Boulevard.

The Colorado Department of Transportation has not said how long the testing period will be.
