Highlands Ranch High School Will Use Breathalyzer At Homecoming Dance

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - Students at a high school in Douglas County will have to pass a different kind of test to attend their homecoming dance this year.

Highlands Ranch High School students will have to pass a breathalyzer to be allowed into this weekend's dance.

The school district says authorities will get involved if a student tests positive.

School officials hope the breathalyzer will ensure the safety of all students.

Mountain Vista High School says they've been using a breathalyzer for five years with great success.
