Highlands Ranch Child 1st Flu Death Of Season

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (CBS4) - A little girl from Highlands Ranch was the first death from flu this season in Colorado.

Lelaina Wilson died March 23 from complications of the flu. According to a crowdfunding website, Lelaina suffered irreparable brain damage.

According to the Colorado Department of Health, the flu season peaked in March in the state and was on the decline over the past week.
