Hickenlooper To Announce New Colorado Supreme Court Justice

DENVER (AP) — Gov. John Hickenlooper will announce the replacement for retiring Colorado Supreme Court Justice Gregory J. Hobbs Jr.

Hobbs is retiring and his vacancy is effective Sept. 1.

Hickenlooper is announcing his selection for a new justice Tuesday afternoon. He's picking from three finalists — Richard L. Gabriel, Melissa Hart, and David S. Prince.

They were chosen by the Supreme Court Nominating Commission earlier this month.
