Gov. Hickenlooper Signs Bill Aimed At Protecting Seniors

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4)- Gov. John Hickenlooper signed a bill into law that is designed to protect seniors from financial abuse.

The governor signed House Bill 1253 on Friday in Westminster that requires people like investment advisers to report any suspected abuse to police.

The new law also gives seniors the authority to delay a transaction if they think there is a financial exploitation.
