Westminster Mayor Herb Atchison Resigns On Advice Of Doctor

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4)- Westminster Mayor Herb Atchison has resigned on the advice of his doctor. Atchison submitted his resignation to the Westminster City Council on Monday.
He expressed his appreciation to the community after serving in a variety of jobs for more than four decades.
In accordance with the Westminster city charter, Mayor pro tem Anita Seitz will serve the remainder of Atchison's term which ends in November.
