Help Needed To Identify Burglar In Adams County

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Adams County Sheriff's Department needs help in tracking a burglar.

A homeowner had surveillance cameras that captured photos of a man suspected in a string of burglaries. They all happened in the Hidden Lakes area near 68th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard.

Investigators are especially interested who might recognize the tattoo on the man's left wrist. Area residents told police they remember seeing the man in neighborhood a couple of weeks ago and he may be working alone.

"I don't think it's somebody that actually lives in this neighborhood ... but there are a couple people that seem to think they have seen him walking through the neighborhood in the day," resident Amy Strawn said. "So he's somebody from this area."

Numerous items have been stolen from homes, but the suspect seems to prefer taking tools.

According to police, the break-ins have been happening since mid-September. The most recent burglary happened on Saturday.
