Head-On Crash In Clear Creek Canyon Sends 5 To The Hospital
CLEAR CREEK COUNGY, Colo. (CBS4) - Highway 6 in Clear Creek Canyon had to be closed Sunday after a head-on crash injured five people.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crashed happened at approximately 2 p.m. Five people were transported to the hospital in unknown conditions. One person may have been trapped in the crash.
The closure caused major backups for people returning from the high country for the holiday weekend.
Highway 6 was closed between Highway 119 and Highway 58 for just over an hour. It reopened just after 3:15 p.m.
