Hazy Weekend Skies Possible Due To Wildfires In Canada, Pacific Northwest

DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado has been fortunate so far this warm season, with very little in the way of major wildfires.

But it's been a different story in places like Washington, Oregon and parts of western Canada.

Wind patterns high in the atmosphere will carry smoke from those fires into Colorado over the weekend. The result will be hazy skies.

That smoke, in addition to light winds and temperatures returning into the 90s, could cause some air quality concerns for those who are sensitive and spend a lot of time outdoors.
