Hazmat And Bomb Squad Respond To House In Arvada

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - Hazmat crews and a bomb squad were on scene at a house in Arvada early Wednesday morning.

An auto theft investigation in Denver Tuesday night led police to the house at Chase Drive and West 82nd. Arvada Police were called in around 10 p.m. for assistance.

Hazardous materials were found inside the house including chemicals used in the production of meth and explosives. Hazmat and bomb squad crews were called to the home in addition to environmental cleanup crews.

Arvada Police took one man into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
