School Secretary Gets Surprise Of Her Life
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - A school secretary got the surprise of her life when she thought a would-be tornado drill actually turned into being a gathering to celebrate her winning $1 million.
Harasi M., who works for the Mead High School "entered the faculty break room, the Colorado Lottery Prize Surprise crew was waiting there with a huge check for $1 million," according to the Colorado Lottery.
Harasi won the money on a non-winning Torrent of Wealth scratch ticket in the Second-Chance Drawing.
"Harasi was overcome with emotion as her colleagues cheered and clapped, some of whom still believed it was an elaborate prank. Randomly chosen from more than 300,000 entries."
"I would like to tip the waiters more," Harasi said.
