2 Families Who Suffered Tragedies Get Special Gift From 'Hammers & Angels'

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - Two families in Arvada hardly recognize their homes after they were remodeled thanks to hard working volunteers.
KBPI Radio identified two families who were in need of renovations on their homes. Dozens of contractors pitched in as part the Hammers and Angels program.
"Thank you guys so much. For the rest of our lives ... we're just ... (crying) … thank you," resident Linda Zimmerman said.

One of the families lost their husband and father in a motorcycle crash. The other is a woman whose son died a few years ago.
