Hail Still Piled Up 12 Hours After Storm

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Hail was still piled up in parts of Adams County on Wednesday morning, nearly 12 hours after a storm hit.

The hail was about a foot thick in some spots near 72nd and Pecos in Adams County.

On Tuesday, a severe storm targeted the area and dumped several inches of hail. The hail piled up and was like concrete blocks.

The hail caused street flooding in the area which led to the closure of Pecos between 70th and 72nd Avenue.

Copter4 flew over the area Wednesday morning where one parking lot still had hail piled up like snow along with flooding.
