Gun Found Inside Student's Locker In Frisco

FRISCO, Colo. (CBS4) – Deputies in Summit County are investigating after a gun was found in a student's locker.

It happened at a middle school in Frisco on Friday.

Authorities received a tip that the weapon was in the locker and the student was immediately removed from campus.

The Summit County Sheriff said no threats were made to any students.

It appears the gun was going to be used after school for target practice.

Regardless of the intention it is illegal to have a gun in school.
