Gun Found At Gateway High School

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Parents of Gateway High School students in Aurora received a message Friday evening informing them a gun was found at the school on Tuesday.

Aurora police say a former student was arrested on school grounds with a revolver.

No specific threat was identified.

Some family members of students are upset they weren't notified sooner.

"I was in a meeting today with school officials and I wasn't made aware of the gun being found at school. They are aware of the problems I have dealt with in the past," said Betty Shoels, a student's grandmother.

Shoels' nephew, Isaiah Shoels, was one of the students killed in the massacre at Columbine High School in 1999.
