Group Rallies In Denver To Get GMOs On Food Labels
DENVER (CBS4) - A group called We Are Change Colorado hosted a rally in downtown Denver Tuesday afternoon.
The group wants a question on the ballot that would require food labels to include genetically engineered foods, or GMOs.
"Sixty-four other countries label the genetically modified organisms and Americans don't have the opportunity," Bruce Baumann with We Are Change Colorado said. "We want the right to know."
More than 86,000 signatures are needed to get the question on the ballot.
