Ground stop lifted at Denver International Airport after reports of severe weather

A ground stop was reported early Thursday evening at Denver International Airport due to heavy thunderstorms, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. 

Heavy rain, hail, flooding and mudslides were reported throughout the state on Thursday, leading to delayed flights at the airport. 

Around 10:22 p.m. the ground stop was lifted at the airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
