Greenwood Village Police Search For Suspect In Attack On Woman

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4) – Greenwood Village police are looking for a man after an attack on a 20-year-old woman Sunday night.

The woman was assaulted in the 6400 block of South Yosemite Street. She told police she was grabbed from behind, attacked, and then lost consciousness.

The suspect ran when witnesses in a parking garage saw the attack and started yelling.

The suspect ran towards the light rail station. He was possibly wearing a black jacket, dark shorts and a baseball hat.

Police released a picture of a man who they call a person of interest.

The woman was not sexually assaulted and nothing was stolen from her but police said this man needs to be found.

The man was last seen wearing a black jacket, black shorts and baseball hat.
