Grand Junction Airport Authority Cleared

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) — Federal authorities say they have dropped their investigation into allegations of wrongdoing at the Grand Junction Regional Airport Authority.

The FBI has only said that its probe concerns allegations of fraud. Agents searched airport offices and seized financial documents in 2013.

As part of obtaining a non-prosecution agreement, the authority appointed a finance and audit committee and rewrote its bylaws.
