Governor Orders All Flags To Half Staff After Former State Legislator Dies
DENVER (CBS4) - Governor Jared Polis has ordered all United States and Colorado flags flown at half staff through Tuesday after a former Colorado state legislator dies.
Tilman Bishop served in the state legislature for 28 years. He passed away on Sunday in Grand Junction. He was 86.
Bishop served as a Mesa County commissioner and sat on the Colorado Mesa University board of trustees, among other positions.
A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday at CMU.
