Lack Of Snow Means Glenwood Canyon Bike Path Open For The Season

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- The lack of snow on Colorado's Western Slope means the Glenwood Canyon Bike Path is open for the season a little early.

The Colorado Department of Transportation opened the bike path on Friday.

Crews have been working to make repairs and sweep the path of large rocks and debris.

In the past, heavy snowfall and runoff had kept the bike path from opening until late May.
